Storm damage? We help with your insurance claim.
20+ years on Pittsburgh roofs, including extensive hail and wind claim work across Allegheny County. We document visible damage, meet your adjuster on-site when needed, and help supplement the claim if legitimate scope items get missed. If you need an emergency tarp, we can usually have one up the same day.
Four steps. Clear documentation from day one.
Free damage inspection
We review the damage, document visible issues, and help you decide whether the claim is worth filing.
File or supplement the claim
You file (or we coach you through it). We meet the adjuster on-site to make sure nothing's missed.
Insurance approval
The slow part - typically 2-4 weeks. We stay on top of the adjuster so it doesn't stall.
Install
Once approved, the actual roof replacement is usually 1-2 working days. We coordinate paperwork and keep the scope clear.
Adjusters miss things. We don’t.
Insurance scopes are often incomplete. Here’s what we make sure gets included in your claim:
- Hail dents on shingles, vents, and metal gutters
- Wind-lifted shingles (visible only on close inspection)
- Damaged step flashing and chimney flashing
- Code-upgrade items (ice & water shield, ventilation)
- Decking that's been wet for months
- Gutter dents and downspout damage
- Skylight seals compromised by impact
- Interior ceiling staining from leaks
Watch out for storm chasers.
After every Pittsburgh storm, contractors from out-of-state show up knocking doors. Red flags:
- !They knock unannounced after a storm - we never do this
- !They offer to 'waive your deductible' - illegal in PA
- !They ask you to sign before insurance approves
- !They have no PA contractor license # on truck or paperwork
- !They pressure you to file a claim immediately
- !They have a temporary phone number or out-of-state plates
- !They don't put scope of work in writing
- !They ask for a large deposit up front
